COTTONDALE CASES. The cases of the young men arrested at Cottondale, mentioned in yesterday’s GAZETTE, came up in Justice Edmundson’s court yesterday, and engaged the attention of the justice the greater portion of the day. There were some 22 or 23 cases against them in all, and they were disposed of as follows : Ed Brown, six cases; five of them were dismissed and he was held to answer at the county court in the sixth. Lee Elphant, one case fine $10 and cost. Jno. Jackson, one case; fined $10 and cost. Yancey Thrower, two cases; fined $10 in each case, and costs. Elzey Campbell, one case; held to answer at the county court. Ed Thompson, twelve cases; eight of them were dismissed ; held to answer to county court in three and fined $50 and cost in one.
