Deputy Kills a Negro. TUSCALOOSA, Ala. Oct. 29.-Burton Hyche, deputy sheriff and game warden of Tuscaloosa county, shot and killed a negro school teacher named Nathan Jackson near the county bridge. Hyche arrested Jackson some night last ; week for fighting and he received word that he would be “fixed” the next time he was seen. Jackson met Hyche in the public road and started towards him, when the deputy shot him twice, the first shot proving fatal.
