| Transcript: | We have inquired into the alleged lynching of Reuben Sims, but owing to the great distance of a large number of witnesses, who are presumed to know something of the matter, we have been unable to get them and go into the case fully. We have filed with the Clerk of the Court a list of the witnesses who are thought to know something concernin the case, and we recommend that they be subpoenaed by the Clerk to appear before the Grand Jury at the beginning of the next term of this court. |
