| Transcript: | The news comes from Bellamy that before day 13th Robert Gulley and Simon Holly collectively entered the residence of Mr. Tate Gray in Bellamy for the purpose of robbery and when Mrs. Gray awoke and screamed they had shot her through the head killing her. Mr. Gray sprang up and grappled with the Negroes when they rolled outdoors when Tate grabbed an axe and killed Gulley. Holly, running away, was followed by a posse and shot to death. |
