| Transcript: | Birmingham Ala..May 29- Jeff Thomas. A Negro who assaulted Mrs/ J.V Neal ay Townley, a week ago, was captured last night, and his supposed to have been lynched. A posse captured him but when the sheriff came he discovered that the negro was missing. All his captors would say was that Thomas had escaped to hell. |
