Transcript: | Information was received here tonight of the lynching of Lewis Hendricks, the third negro supposed to have been implicated in the rape and murder of Mrs. Jesse Rucker, near Stanton last Thursday. Hendricks was run down in the swarrip this evening by enraged citizens. The two other negroes involved were lynched last Friday night. |
