Transcript: | The case of Edgar Moses, charged with the murder of Lillie Cobb, a negro was called Wednesday morning at ten o’clock but was continued until one oclock on account of the absence of Dr. Moore, an important witness in the case. The trial had not got under way at the time of going to press Wednesday afternoon. There are more than seventy-five witnesses summoned in the case. Much interest is being manifested in the case and the town is full of people. |
