Tuscaloosa, Ala. Special to The Times- Democrat. TUSCALOOSA, Jan. 30.- – The negro Scip Holly, who last week shot and killed Luther Sealy, a white man, in Hickman’s neighborhood, in Tuscaloosa county, was captured near Carthage yesterday, and was brought here and lodged in jail today. When closely pursued he took refuge in a lake, and was standing up to his chin in water at the time he was discovered. There was some talk of lynching him, but old Mr. Sealy, the father of the murdered man, urged that the law be allowed its course, and in deference to his wishes the prisoner was brought here to await his trial.
