Livingston,  Ala., Jan. 25-

Richard Burton, a negro, charged with burglary and the wounding of a store keeper at Boyd Station, was hanged today. Burton, with two other negroes, was discovered in a store at Boyd Station late last night and before he was overpowered stabbed the storekeeper several times. He was being brought to jail here when the mob overpowered his guard and hanged the negro to a tree.

Two other negroes, said to have been implicated by Burton, were arrested today.
