| Transcript: | Former Mobile Sheriff:- Former Sheriff John S. Drago, of Mobile, is at the Exchange Hotel. He is here on business at the capitol. Mr. Drago was appointed sheriff of Mobile county by Governor Comer, to succeed Sheriff Cazalas, who was impeached by the supreme court, following the taking from the country jail and lynching of a negro named Robinson, who had shot to death Deputy Sheriff Philip Fatch, in Mobile. |
