Transcript: | One Alone Was Guilty Thursday night, Mrs. Annie Rucker, a respected white woman in Chilton county, was assaulted, and fatally shot by a negro. A posse formed and finally two negroes were captured. Each denied the guilt but evidence showed one or the other was the perpetrator of the outrage.To make sure of the right man, both were strung up to al imb and their bodies riddled with bullets |
