BAY MINETTE, Ala., April 20. – Dock Cole, a prominent merchant and assistant postmaster at Little River, in the northern part of Baldwin County, was foully murdered last night by negreos. Robbery was the motiveA posse organized and two negroes – Robert Tate and Rube Sims – were arrested. Tate confessed and a lynching is feared. Sheriff Armstrong left for the scene of the crime this morning.
