Mobile, Ala., April 22. – Reuben Sims, one of the negroes implicated in the murder of Dr. C. D. Cole near Bay Minette on Monday, was lynched by a mob that night, and his body riddled with bullets. A confession was extracted after the negro had been whipped three times. Many members of the mob were from Monroe county. Information from Bay Minette is that two more negroes are suspected.
