A FAMOUS CASE. Four White Men, Imprisoned For Lynching a Negro, Pardoned. Montgomery, Ala. June 9.-Gov. Jelks Sunday pardoned Geo. Howard, , Martin Fuller and John Strength, three at the four white men convicted in El- more county of lynching the Negro Robin White, and sentenced to ten years in the penitentiary. The case is famous as the only in- stance in Alabama where a white man has been convicted of lynching a Ne- gro. The men had served one year. A FAMOUS CASE.
