Transcript: | BAY MINNETTE, Ala., April 21 – Dock Cole, a merchant and assistant postmaster at Little River, in the northern part of Baldwin county, was murdered yesterday by negroes. A posse captured two negroes, Robert Tate and Rube Sims, Tate confessing. A lynching is feared. Sheriff Armstrong has gone to the scene of the crime. |
