Alonzo Edwards Dies at Seman Home. Mr. Alonzo Edwards, well-known and highly respected citizen of Seman, died at his home there last Monday. He had been ill nearly two years. Born in 1875 Mr. Edwards had spent the greater part of his life in and around Seman. He was a good husband and father, a kind adn helpful neighbor and friend and his death removed a good citizen of the county. He was the father of eighteen living children. Funeral services will be held this morning from Seman Congregatioinal Methodist Church, the Rev. W. W. Parker officiating. Burial will be in Amos Central Cemetery, Evan Funeral Home directing. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Maggie V. Edwards of Birmingha,; Dan W. Forest, of Paul Edwards of Montebello, Calif. Alf and Gordon Edwards of Roswell, N.M.; eight daughters, Mrs. Cora Moore of Birmingham; Mrs. Alma Harper of Hodge, La.; Mrs. Ruby Stears, Mrs Fannie Mae Brown, Mrs. Dovie Stearns of Eclectic; Mrs. Evelyn Forbus of Equality; Mrs Evelyn Bailey of McCalla, Ala.; Mrs. Lena Forbus of Equality; Miss Jessie Alice Edwards of Seman; three brothers, Hardie D. Edwards of Iraan, Tex., Ernest M. Edwards of Eclectic; two sisters, Mrs Lovie Kimble and Mrs. Jessie owers both of Birmingham and ten great-grandchildren.
