Transcript: | Montgomery, Ala. – The governor’s office has offered $4000 reward for the first arrest and conviction of any persons implicated in the lynching of Reuben Sims, a negro, who confessed to the murder of Dr. C. D. Cole, at Little river, Baldwin county. Rewards of $100 each were also offered for the second and third arrests. |
