CAPTURED. John Thomas Wanted for the Murder of Lid Coy Was Captured Yesterday.

Deputy Kyle made a very clever catch yesterday when he captured John Thomas, alias Ike Crabb. About three months ago this negro, John Thomas, shot and killed Lid Coy, a negro woman at Greely, this county. The murder was a cold blooded one and the authorities have been looking for him ever since. A few weeks ago Deputy Darden raided a crap game on a work train on the Mobile & Ohio rail- road and captured several manipulators of the ivory. Among this crowd was Thomas, who gave his name as Crabb. Yesterday he was taken out of the jail by Mr. Stallworth and put to work. Another negro, Zeke Prince, told Mr. Kyle he could lo- cate the man wanted for the murder. Acting upon his advice Mr. Kyle arrested Thomas, and he is now in jail.
