CAUGHT.

John Thomas, alias Ike Crabb, etc was caught by Deputy Kyle right smoothly yesterday. The colored gentleman has been wanted time time on a warrant for the murder of one Lid Coy a colored woman, who was shot in cold blood at Greely, this county, about three months age. A few weeks ago it was reported to the Sheriff that the negro was on the M & O work train beyond Northport, but he couldn’t be located. A month since Deputy Darden made a haul of crap shooters off this very work train. This John Thomas was one of them, but he didn’t let on who he was. Yesterday morning Mr Stallworth took the darkey out of jail to work for him. Shortly after, another darkey named Zeke Prince told Mr Kyle he could locate the man wanted for the Greely murder. Mr Kyle went with him and bagged his man, who happened to be the very identical John Thomas who had been in jail the last month.
