| Transcript: | Walter Clayton, a negro convict, was lynched near Bay Minette, Ala. He had assaulted Mrs. Joseph White. John Burr was hanged by a mob near Wesson, Miss. Burr had murdered the 12 year old son of his employer because the boy had interrupted him while fishing. |
