| Transcript: | Dill McGee seriously wounded His house at hughes mill attacked and his is shot by unknown persons Dill McGee, a negro living near Hughes mill, beyond Northport, was attacked at his home Tuesday night by an unknown crowd and his house was considerably shot up. McGee was himself probably fatally wounded. A posse was after the attacking party yesterday but they have not as yet apprehended them, No other details have been learned at the Sheriff’s office and what was the cause of the trouble no one seems to know. |
