Tuscaloosa Estate Records (Minors) Craig, Isiaac, Mary, Edna, Rosa, Lizzie, and Savannah. 1920. Petition for Apporintment of Guardian for Minor or Non Compos Mentis. The State of Alabama, Tuskaloosa County. In the Probate Court, In Re Estate of Isiaac Craig, Mary Craig, Edna Craig, Rosa Craig, Lizzie Craig, and Savannah Craig, To The Hon. Jas. C. Brown, Judge of the Probate Court: Your petitioner, the undersigned Alice Penny respectfully shows unto this Honorable Court that the above named are minors and respectfully, 17, 15, 14, 12, 10, 8, and 5 years; that said minors own within this County and State an estate in their own right, consisting chiefly of least in the 1st National Bank of Tuscaloosa Alabama amounting to One Hundred Eighty Eight $188.00 Dollars. And that all of said estate is worth about Cast ($188.00) Dollars, and probably not more; that your petitioner is the grand mother of said minors and is otherwise fully qualified to act as the Guardian of said minors. Wherefore, petitioner prays this Honorable Court to make and enter all such orders and decrees, and direct and institute all such proceedings as may be necessary to that end, and then approve your petitioner as Guardian of the estate of said Minors, Alice Penny. The State of Alabama, Tuskaloosa County, Alice Penny being duly sworn, doth depose and say that the facts stated in the above petition are true of the best of her knowledge, information and belief.
