| Transcript: | Escaped to Hell. Birmingham, Ala, May 29-Jeff Thomas, the negro who assaulted Mrs. J.Vv Neal at Townsley a week ago, was captured last night and is supposed to have been lynched. A possse captured him but when the sheriff came he discovered that the negro was missing. All the capters would say that Thomas had escaped to hell. |
