Transcript: | Bay Minette, Ala., April 21. – Dock Cole, a merchant and assistant postmaster at Little River, was murdered Wednesday by negroes. A posse captured two negroes, Robert Tate and Rube Sims, Tate confessing. A lynching is feared. Sheriff Armstrong has gone to the scene of the crime. |
