MAY BE WANTED ELSEWHERE. Sheriff W. R. Waller, of this county, has received a notice from the state convict bureau to hold George Washington, the negro who was arrested in Lowndes county, and who was thought to be the murderer of F. W. Davenport, of Maplesville, but who turned out to be the wrong negro. The state convict officials think he may be an escaped convict.
