FIVE colored men were hanged the other day, as follows: John McKelsey, at Selma, Ala., for murdering his wife: Scip Holley at Tuscaloosa, Ala., for murdering his employer, a young planter; Berry Johnson, at Shreveport, La, for wife murder: Josh Berryman, at Natchitoches, La., for the murder of another colored man, and Willie Williams, at Franklin, La., for murder.
