The third man in the attack and murder of Mrs. Rucker, nar stanton in Chilton county last week, is still at large.
Later information is to the effect that his name is Louis Hendricks, and that he attempted to steal a ride on the Louisville and Nashville freight last night, and was put off near Jemison. The whole country is full of armed men, looking for Hendricks, who is described as a dark mulatto negro, weighing about 150 pounds. He was captured last Saturday, so it is said, but escaped, and in doing so got two loads of shot. It is believed that before night Hendricks will be a dead man, if he has not already been riddled.
