MOBILE, Ala., April 9. – A long distance telephone message to the Register from Bay Minette tonight says that Walter Clayton, the negro convict, who, it is alleged, criminally assaulted Mrs. J. P. White, a white woman last Saturday, and who escaped from the mob of lynchers on Sunday morning, has been located in this city. He will be taken to Bay Minette tomorrow.
