NEGRO MAY BE BROUGHT HERE FOR SAFE KEEPING GADSDEN, Ala., Dec. 3. –Special.–Because of feeling aroused among the negroes growing out of the killing of a negro woman, Node Madison, her husband, charged with the crime, probably will be taken to Birmingham from the Guntersville jail for safe keeping. At a preliminary trial the negro was bound over by the action of the Grand Jury. Negroes not approving of his crime have threatened to lynch him. He shot his wife, It is charged, and forced her to tell the officers the shooting was accidental. When dying she confessed that her husband was drunk and shot to kill her for some fancied wrong.
