A special from Bayminette, Ala., says that Sheriff Armstrong has returned from the scene of the murder of Dr. Cole, at Little River, to report to the Governor the lynching of Reubin Sims, a negro by the citizens of Monroe County at North Baldwin, ten hours before he was notified of the murder. Sims confessed after being whipped three times and was hanged to a limb and riddled with bullets.
