Transcript: | Mobile, Ala., April 20. – A special from Bay Minette , Baldwin county, Ala., to the Item, says that Dock Cole, a prominent merchant and assistant postmaster at Little River, in the northern part of Baldwin county, was foully murdered last night by negroes. Robbery was the motive. A posse organized today arrested two negroes, Robert Tate and Rube Sims. |
