| Transcript: | QUIET AT COALING. The Negro Durrett Still Alive, But Wounded In Many Places. At 2 o’clock this afternoon the negro Durrett. who was shot by a mob at Coaling. Ala., was still alive. He is fearfully wounded. however, bullets having pierced him in the thigh, in the shoulder and in other parts of the body. No arrests have been made and everything is quiet in the little place. It is not believed there will be any trouble tonight. |
