THOMPSON ARRESTED. Sheriff Rush King returned on the 11 o’clock train yesterday morning from Louisville, Ky.. where he went after Mr. Edward Thompson, the young man who shot and seriously wounded Prof. Stewart, at Cottondale on Christmas day. He brought Thompson with him. Thompson had been arrested in Louisville by a policeman, and King notified of the fact. He had no trouble so far as we learned in bringing his prisoner home. Soon after their arrival Thompson was released on a one thousand dollar bond to appear at a preliminary trial to be held before Justice Edmundson on next Wednesday,
