Transcript: | (Scrippe-McRae Telegram.) MOBILE, Ala., April 22 – Reuben Sims, a negro, was lynched by white citizens north of Baldwin, Ala., for the murder of Dr. Cole, a white man. Sims was whipped until he confessed his guilt and was hanged and shot. |
