Transcript: | Frank Richardson, the negro con- demned to hang for the killing of Brown Morton, ‘a ; member of the posse which was in pursuit of-Rich- ardson, who had just killed former deputy sheriff, Tom Cooper, has been granted a reprieve of sixty days by the governot During that time the state pardoning board is expected-to take up Richardson’s case at the re- quest of a number of Tuscaloosa’s leading citizens. Owing to the par- ticular condition of the killing of Tom Cooper, it is said the sentence may be changed.
