Transcript: | BOUND OVER TO THE GRAND JURY JOE MORGAN HAS PRELIMINARY BEFORE JUSTICE BRADY ON CHARGE OF SHOOTING NEGRO-NO BAIL Joe Morgan, the white man brought here last Monday from Lock 16, charged with killing Lamb Moss, a negro at that point, had a prelim- inary hearing before Justice of the Peace John Brady yesterday ofter- noon, the result of the hearing being that he was held to await the act- ion of the Grand Jury and no bail was allowed Morgan entered a plea of self de- fense to the charge He was repre seated by Mr Daniel Collier, Mr Fleetwood Rice conducting the prose- cation.
