| Transcript: | TUSKALOOSA. Desperate Negro Shot and Killed in the County. TO9KALOOSA, Dee. 5. – (Special)–Burt March I, a desperate negro, was shot and killed yesterday near Sander Ferry in this county. W. H. Wood, a constable, had a warrant for the arrest of Marshall and went to his house to serve it. Marshall picked up an ax and made at Wood, and the latter fired the fatal shot just in time to escape a blow from the ax. |
