Transcript: | The Blount county grand jury which recessed at Oneonta late Friday until September 10 returned murder indictments against four Oneonta citizens in connection with the killing of Lillie Cobb, a negro woman, by a white-robed and masked band in that city three years ago. Those indicted are John Wade, blacksmith and undertaker; Joe Harris, garage manager of a filling station, and Enoch Evans, barber. |
