Transcript: | Negro Lynched. Birmingham, Ala., June 6. Jim Powell, a negro, was lynched near Strassburg, Chilton county, last night, for an attempted assault on the 15-year-old daughter of a farmer named Bussy. The girl identified Powell as her assailant. |
