Transcript: | HUSBAND AIDS IN LYNCHING. Florence, Ala., March 25–Captured near the city yesterday, Cleveland Harding, negro who attempted to assault Mrs Ben Rice, was tied to a tree last night and riddled with bullets by Mrs. Rice’s enraged husband and several score of his neighbors. The negro confessed his guilt. When he attacked Mrs. Rice, Harding was driven off by her shepherd dog. |
