| Transcript: | PTOMIE NEGROES REPORTED IN HANDS OF TEXAS OFFICERS [Special Telegram to The Times.] Selma, Ala., April 13.–It is reported here that Will and Ed Ptomie, negroes, charged with attempting the life of Prof. Claude Hardy, at Pineapple, have been caught at Dallas, Tex. These negroes were hunted several days in the woods near Pineapple and the chase ended when J. R, Rowell, one of the posse, was accidentally killed by his friends. |
