Tuscaloosa, Ala., Sept. 25 (UP) Six white men, who impersonated police officers were sought today as the slayers of Dennis Cross, negro charged with accosting a white woman. Cross, free on bond, was taken from his hime to an isolated spot near the city limits and shot. Sheriff R. L. Shamblin said the only clue was the tire tracks of the slayers’ automobile.
