Mobile, Ala., April 23 – A special from Minette says Sheriff E. Armstrong has returned from the scene of the murder of Dr. Cole at Little River to report to the governor the lynching of Ruben Sims, a negro, by the citizens of Monro county at North Baldwin. Sims confessed after being whipped three times and was hanged to a limb and riddled with bullets.
